<p>You can enhance your existing <a href="wsgGloss.htm#virtualserver" class="glossterm"> virtual servers</a> to add
FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 functionality
such as security, usage analysis, and server health features, and so on. This process is
called extending a virtual server. If the virtual server you want to extend is
in the configuration file for your administration port, you can extend it by
clicking <b>Extend</b> in the list of virtual servers. If the virtual server you
want to extend is not in the list, you can still extend it by clicking the <b>Extend
a virtual server</b> link.</p>

<b>Virtual Servers</b>, locate the virtual server
that you want to extend.</li>

<li>In the <b>Server Configuration File Path</b> box, type the path to the
configuration file that includes the virtual server. </li>
<li>In the <b>Port</b> box, type the port number for the virtual server. </li>
<li>In the <b>Host name</b> box, type the host name for the virtual server. </li>
<li>In the <b>Administrator user name </b>box, type the administrator name for the virtual server. </li>
<li>In the <b>Administrator Account Password</b> box, type the password for
the administrator account. </li>
<li>In the <b>UNIX User Account Username</b> box, type the username that will
own the content on the file system. </li>
<li>In the <b>UNIX Group Account Name</b> box, type the group name that will
own the content on the file system. </li>
<li>Click <b>Submit</b>.</li>
